Tibouda Beach

This beach attracts tourists seeking a calm and beautiful landscape. There are other secret beaches to discover if you are willing to take an adventurous drive to look for them. Feel free to ask local people for directions along the way.
Imsouane beach, Agadir
Imsouane beach is another top spot for surfing, Imsouane is known as the Cathedral due to the unique rock formations.
Imsouane is a surfing spot 82 km north of Agadir city. The beach of Imsouane was chosen to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world by Forbes.
Imsouane is a paradise destination for surfers around the world, attracted by its long, beautiful waves. It has two surfing beaches and surf camps offering a complete package with accommodation, food, surfing lessons, and equipment.
It is easy to get to Imsouane from Agadir by hiring a car or taking a big taxi.
Mirleft Beach
If you decide to trek south, you will find this quaint little town 2 and a half hours south of Agadir. It’s a lovely beach town that offers cool activities for swimmming and beach lovers. You can try surfing, paragliding or sea fishing.
Beginners might even try their luck by booking a surfing course.
There are several other amazing beaches in this region, including the iconic Legzira Beach which is very near, and Sidi Ifni, a small town further south.
Tcharrana beach, Beni Chiker Town
The hidden Tcharrana beach is a marvelous site located in Beni Chiker town that’s about an hour’s drive from Nador city. A mixture of sand and pebble paradise where you only hear nature and feel the occasional breeze.
The secluded Tcharrana beach has incredibly crystal clear water, which is perfect for snorkeling, diving, and swimming. There is a little shop where you can try Moroccan Tea but it is best to bring your own food and drink.
Sidi Ifni Beach
For a more relaxed beach vibe, head to Sidi Ifni.
This charming blue-and-white seaside town is located on Morocco’s southern coast and is known for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful beaches flanked by cliffs.
Visitors can stroll along the promenade, enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants, or simply relax on the sand and soak up the summer sun.
Martil beach
The smart, upscale town of Martil is a lovely beach destination in the north. It is very near Tetouan and can even be considered a day trip from the famous Chefchaouen.
Martil beach is pretty calm for most of the year. However, if does get very busy during public holidays and school vacations, when locals from the surrounding towns come to the beach to have some fun in the sun.
It is not a prime international beach site but there are loads of holiday apartments and budget hotels for you to choose from.
Asilah beach
Asilah is a beautiful Mediterranean beach town located in the north of Morocco, near Tangier. The beach views are awesome and the water is great for swimming too.
Asilah is one of those places that has been steadiliy increasing in popularity, locally and internationally.
However, it might get busy in the Summer, so you can avoid the crowds by exploring some of the other nearby beaches that are equally beautiful, like Sidi Mugait Beach or Paradise Beach.
Bouznika Beach
Bouznika is perfectly located on the coast, about halfway between Rabat and Casablanca. From Casablanca, it’s less than an hour by car.
It is regarded as one of the cleanest and safest beaches in Morocco, receiving the Blue Flag status for over 10 years.
It is a great beach for swimming. The water is deep blue and the sands are soft and golden brown. It is usually packed on weekends, with people from Casablanca driving there. However, if you go during the week, you will be pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it is.
Marina Saidia
Saidia is another up and coming beach destinations on Morocco’s north coast. It is very near to the coastal border with Algeria.
Saidia offers a wide variety activities and facilities for guests and residents.
The beaches are lovely for swimming and sunbathing. There are several upsacale resorts that are also opening their doors during the upcoming summer.
It is such a pity that Saidia is located so far from the other major urban centers and touristy cities in Morocco. Nonetheless, if you find yourself in the area, it’s the best place to go swimming.
Port de Marina Smir
Just a stone-throw from Gibraltar and Southern Spain, Marina Smir is a beautiful port cum beach destination town. It offers a bit of everything for visitors.
For those from Europe who want to dock their boats, the Marina offers quick and easy access. On the other hand, there are several activties like swimming and watersports available at some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Marina Smir is very near to Tetouan. I cool and calm day trip.
